Step 1: Insert right hand needle into the slip knot on the left hand needle and knit a stitch. Do not place the new stitch on the right hand needle, rather place it back on the left hand needle on top of the original slip knot stitch. You now have two stitches on your left hand needle. Step 2: Now insert your right hand needle between the two stitches on the left hand needle, inserting from the front and into the back. Wrap the yarn around your right hand needle and draw the new stitch out from between the two existing stitches. As with the second stitch, Place this new stitch on the left hand needle on top of the two other stitches. You now have three stitches. Continue to create new stitches by repeating Step 2 only until you have the desired amount of stitches.
