Jeny's Surprisingly Stretchy Bind Off
To set up this bind off, knit the first stitch. Now bring the yarn over the back of the needle to the front in a manner that wraps the yarn around the needle. Do not bring the yarn to the from as if to Yarn Over (YO). Knit the next stitch from the left hand needle. You will now have three stitches on your right hand needle. Pass the first two stitches over the third stitch.
From now on you will not need to knit a stitch first. The stitch left from the bind off is your first stitch. You will now bring the yarn over the needle to create a stitch and knit a stitch. There will be three stitches on your right hand needle.
This bind off can be used for hat brims, cowls, or items that may need some stretch. Can be utilized when pattern calls for a stretchy bind off.
